Battery management system for stationary use
Battery management with WEB-Browser: measuring, protocol and charge equalizing 12 up to 288 Batteries/Cells from 24V to 576 V nominal voltage
The battery management system BADICHEQ (BAttery DIagnostic & CHarge EQualizing) series 3000 is a patented, processor controlled monitoring system for stationary batteries.
BADICHEQ 3000 controlls in charge and discharge mode up to 288 blocks or cells. Blocks or cells that havn't reached the requested voltage, will be cared by BADICHEQ with some charge current.
Therefore the BADICHEQ 3000 contains a small charger with an maximum output power of 20W!
The management system calculate the detected temperature in there actions. Up to 3 temperature sensors can be added to the system.
In front of the cabinet the BADICHEQ 3000 shows a LED- Panel with 3 LED's for signaling the battery charge, discharge and fault states. The battery current is measured by transducers in the near of the battery fuses. BADICHEQ 3000 don't need external power supplies, it's supplies itself from battery. The nominal battery voltage range is from 24V up to 576V DC.
BADICHEQ 3000 has to be connected to the minus pole of each battery block and by another wire connected to the plus pole of the last Block (at the total plus of the battery set). Additional one powersupply wire has to be connected to the total minus and the total plus pole (connection to the total voltage).
BADICHEQ 3000 includes a serial link (RS 232) for connection with PC or with the network adapter.
In order to be informed about the state of the batteries of any time, the BADICHEQ 3000 has to be connected with an adapter into the network.
The data are sampled and filtered by the network adapter continously. In case of an alarm the adapter can sends an email into the net work.
Several SNMP/WEB adapters have to be connected to the network by a switch.
The network auxilliary needs a 230V AC suply powered from a UPS system.
With a customized network auxilliary cabinet you can order a complete system from the producer, including the network adapters, power supply and switches.
